About DFM Properties
Donald F. Mammano Jr. is the president and founder of DFM Properties, a real estate development company with deep roots in Scranton, Pennsylvania. His journey into the real estate and construction industry began early, inheriting the passion from his grandfather and father, both of whom instilled the core values of hard work, vision, and integrity. While still a student at the University of Scranton in 2003, Donald identified a need for additional student housing to accommodate the growing student body, launching his first project that would lay the foundation for DFM Properties.
Under his leadership, DFM Properties has grown significantly, transitioning from its origins in student housing to become a key player in downtown development. His vision for revitalizing Scranton’s historic buildings and abandoned industrial sites into thriving residential and commercial spaces has helped reshape the city. One such notable project includes the transformation of a former factory in Pine Brook into modern apartments, demonstrating his ability to blend respect for history with innovative design.
Donald’s dedication to his community goes beyond business. He actively supports local causes and continuously seeks opportunities that contribute to Scranton's resurgence, driven by a strong belief in giving back to the place that fueled his own success.
